Objective: The program aims to familiarize high school educators with nuclear energy fundamentals, the current state of the nuclear industry, and educational and career pathways for high school students. The expectation is to help teachers integrate nuclear concepts and laboratory activities into high school curricula and to provide guidance to students interested in pursuing a career in nuclear energy. 

Facilities from a wide multidisciplinary spectrum of nuclear technology research will be visited, including the PUR-1 Nuclear Reactor, PUR-1 Digital Twin Demonstration Room, Purdue University Multidimensional Integral Test Assembly (PUMA), Thermal Hydraulics and Reactor Safety Laboratory (TRSL), and Advanced Reactor Thermal-Hydraulics Lab (ART).
