About the program
AboutPurdue University’s School of Nuclear Engineering will be hosting a three-day Nuclear Outreach Program for High School Teachers in July 14-16, 2026 in West Lafayette, IN. The program will be focused on the fundamentals of nuclear energy and carreer pathways in nuclear industry, including lectures, lab activities at Purdue’s PUR-1 nuclear reactor, and facility tours.
The program has no registration fee and all expenses related to travel and accommondation, including per-diem, will be covered by Purdue University.
