Oguri Group wishes farewell to Hiro
Hiro departs Purdue after spending a year with the Oguri Group
It is sad to say that Hirotaka Sekine, a visiting scholar at the Oguri Group, is returning to Japan after spending almost a year with us. Over this time, he has done some great work:
- H. Sekine, K. Oguri, Y. Kawabata, R. Funase, “Robust Trajectory Optimization against Missed Thrust Events Using Sequential Convex Programming”, IEEE Aerospace Conference, Big Sky, March 2026.
- H. Sekine, K. Oguri, Y. Kawabata, R. Funase, “Robust Trajectory Design for Earth-to-Lunar Orbit Transfers via Sequential Convex Programming”, 48th Annual AAS Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference, Breckenridge, January 2026.
- H. Sekine, Y. Kawabata, M. Tsutsui, R. Fuse, S. Ikari, R. Funase, S. Nakasuka, K. Oguri, “Efficient Moon-to-Moon Transfer Optimization and Its Application to GEO-X”, International Symposium on Space Technology and Science, Tokushima, July, 2025.
