Graduate student Aaron Liao won the first place in the student paper competition at 2026 AAS GNC conference held in Breckenridge, CO. He received the award for his paper entitled "A Higher-Order Autonomous Navigation Filter for Nonlinear Dynamics and Non-Gaussian Distributions".
