West Lafayette
I am a Ph.D. student in the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering and I am co-advised by Dr. Brandon Pitts and Dr. Brad Duerstock. I am originally from Jinhua, Zhejiang, China. I received my Bachelor degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. During my undergrad, my major was also Industrial Engineering and I focused on healthcare, especially on neurological disorder (Parkinson’s Disease) and speech disorder by dealing with audio and ultrasound images. My research experiences fueled my passion for pursuing a research career in the fields that tackle challenges triggered by aging and disabled populations. I will be focusing on assessing accessibility designs for those individuals in complex and intelligent environments, such as autonomous vehicles.
