Bio
I am a Ph.D. student in the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University. I am from Chengdu, China. My research focuses on human-automation interaction within Cyber-Physical-Human Systems, with particular interests in transportation and emergency management. I aim to understand how humans interact with automation and intelligent systems under complex and dynamic environments, and to design decision-support tools that enhance safety, efficiency, and resilience. Before pursuing my Ph.D., I earned my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the Sichuan University-Pittsburgh Institute. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong interest in human factors through interdisciplinary projects involving driver behavior analysis and emergency response modeling. These experiences inspired my academic interests in advancing human-centered design in next-generation socio-technical systems.
