1. Conduit between the Dean and the Faculty
•Assist and advise the Dean on issues regarding faculty affairs, activities, and committees.
•Suggest and provide ways for effective communication in the engineering academic community.
2. Run elections
•Obtain nominations for and supervise elections to engineering committees.
•Review appointments to engineering committees that require a vote for the election of the members.
3. Serve in other capacities as requested by the Dean or the Faculty.
