In some cases, a unit may wish to have a body outside the school assist in identifying or reviewing candidates for Named or Distinguished Professorships. In such cases, the Head may contact the Dean, who will appoint an ad-hoc college level committee composed of Named and Distinguished Professors to provide an evaluation of the faculty candidate(s) for such recognition. |
