Distinguished Professor

As stated in the EAPC Policies and Procedures, the designation “"distinguished"” is an academic recognition that can be bestowed on a select few professors of outstanding accomplishment who have achieved national and international prominence.

The University'’s Board of Trustees has outlined the documentation they require in order to consider an individual for such a designation.

In addition to the original nomination packet provided by the nominator, the BoT also asks for the following documents:

-          A 2-3 page condensed vita

-          A document to describe the letter writer credentials for each individual who has been invited to write, or has written, a letter of support for the candidate.

A template for each of these documents is listed below, in addition to the letter from the Board of Trustees stating these requests.
