Inaugural Virtual Graduate Student Career Fair
The inaugural virtual graduate student career fair, on February 24, 2025, was a resounding success, featuring prominent companies such as 3M, Blue Engineering & Consulting Company, Cadence, Vantage Specialty Chemicals, and Orano Med, among others. The event facilitated over 400 one-on-one meetings between students and recruiters, interspersed with informative general sessions throughout the day.
A total of 314 graduate students seized this valuable opportunity, including Sukriti Shaw, an ECE graduate student. Reflecting on her experience Sukriti shared, “ I had a fantastic experience at the virtual grad career fair, where I had the opportunity to pitch myself one-on-one with a recruiter and boost my confidence. I hope to see more of these events in the fall semester when more roles open up, and kudos to the CoE for their impressive debut!" The fair’s success highlights the growing importance of virtual networking events in connecting talented graduate students with potential employers.
