Join us to celebrate the 16th annual National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW)! This year's theme is communicating your science and research.

Mark your calendars for both the virtual and live events:

  • On Monday, September 15, at 12 p.m. ET, the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) will host a national kickoff event featuring remarks provided by leaders across the postdoc community, with a brief keynote by Gretchen Goldman, Ph.D., president of the Union of Concerned Scientists. This event is free to attend and open to the full community. Register for the kickoff event here.

From 5:30-7:30 p.m., Purdue’s Postdoctoral Affairs will host a pizza party kick-off for postdocs on the Memorial Mall Lawn. Learn details and RSVP here!

  • Next, on Wednesday, September 17, at 1 p.m. ET, the NPA's International Committee will host "Financial Literacy for Postdocs: Understanding your Paycheck." Register for the webinar event here.

From 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Purdue’s Postdoctoral Affairs will host a postdoc and PI ice cream social on the Memorial Mall Lawn. Learn details and RSVP here!

  • On Friday, September 19 from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m., Purdue’s Postdoctoral Affairs will host coffee, tea, and donuts for postdocs on the Memorial Mall Lawn. Learn details and RSVP here!
