OGSPS Excellence in Teaching Award
The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars will award three Graduate Teaching Assistants with the OGSPS Excellence in Teaching Award. One nomination is welcome from each college. One nomination from each school will be sent to the College of Engineering Graduate Education Office Executive Assistant for submission to the CoE selection committee. The college will notify the schools when applications are open and nominations are due.
Award:
This award is considered to be the highest honor given to Purdue teaching assistants, and is accompanied by a $1000 prize.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be registered as full-time graduate students (enrolled for eight credits or more) during the Spring 2026 semester.
- Applicants must have served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for at least two sessions during their Purdue graduate program.
- Previous recipients of the OGSPS Excellence in Teaching Award are not eligible. (See attachment for a list of past recipients.)
