OGSPS Excellence in Postdoctoral Mentoring Award
Established by the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholars to formally acknowledge the essential role postdoctoral trainees play in advancing our research, teaching, and engagement missions. One nomination from each school will be sent to the College of Engineering Graduate Education office executive assistant for submission to the CoE award selection committee. The College will select one candidate to be sent to OGSPS. OGSPS will recognize each finalist as the top mentor for their respective college. From among the finalists, OGSPS will then select one institutional winner. CoE will notify the schools when applications are open and nominations are due.
Award:
The institutional winner will be distinguished with a $1500 check and invited to the OGSPS Awards Reception in April.
Eligibility:
Applicants must have their PhD and be engaged in postdoctoral training under a limited-term contract at Purdue. This can include some Visiting Scholars. If there are questions about eligibility, please email postdoc-affairs@purdue.edu
