Advance Your Career with a ChE Master's

PROFESSIONAL MASTER'S PROGRAM

Purdue University's Chemical Engineering Professional Master's Program (PMP) prepares students from chemical engineering and non-chemical engineering backgrounds alike for industry leadership. The program blends rigorous technical coursework with practical business training — combining core engineering skills with in-demand capabilities like leadership, project management, finance and communication.

Coursework is tailored to each student's background and career goals. Students without a chemical engineering degree complete prerequisite coursework first, while those with more advanced backgrounds can begin in higher-level classes — creating a personalized path to a career-ready blend of technical and business skills.

Engineer the Business Side of Innovation

Purdue's MSChE–MBA dual degree pairs a top-ranked chemical engineering curriculum with essential business training — preparing graduates for advanced leadership roles in two years, not the four it typically takes to earn both degrees separately.

Working Professional Track: Part-Time Master's in Chemical Engineering

Keep working full-time while earning your MS in Chemical Engineering. Purdue's flexible, part-time track lets working professionals complete their degree in 3–4 years, on a schedule built around your career.
