Positions in the Bone Biology and Mechanics Lab
Postdoctoral Researchers:The lab is recruiting 1-2 postdoctoral researchers to work on funded projects from NIH, NSF, or the VA. The planned start date for these positions is ASAP! We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or related fields. Candidates with experience in bone mechanics and mechanobiology or other techniques related to bone and mineral research are desirable. Experience with in vivo mouse models is preferred. Graduate students:
The BBML is seeking highly motivated students to fill PhD positions for the Fall of 2025. Applicant would ideally have a background in mechanics with application to biological tissues, but all interested students are encouraged to contact Prof. Wallace directly to discuss the position. Undergraduate BME students who are interested in gaining research experience are encouraged to contact Prof. Wallace for more details. Please provide a CV or resume and a statement of interest. In order to become an undergraduate researcher in the lab, you must meet the following criteria:
1) Be interested in bone biomechanics.
2) Be in good academic standing.
3) Commit at least 1 full academic year (2 semesters) and at least 6 hours/week to research.
4) Attend regular lab meetings and present your research results once per semester.
