Project Description

The shale gas boom has caused a dramatic change in the energy landscape in the past decade. There is a need for catalytic processes to take advantage of this new light feedstock. My project involves developing new catalysts that have improved selectivity and lifetime, and to further understand at an atomic level what causes a catalyst to be selective.
