I recently went through the entire process of transforming my own simulator ANGEL into a nanohub.org tool. I have created a tutorial for people who want to do the same thing.
In the Klimeck group I am pursuing the following topics:
- NEMO 5: A joint effort to integrate existing functionality into a new, improved framework with the goal to increase sustainability, maintainability and extendability. This shall ultimately shift group activities towards long-term development of customer-centric Nanohub tools.

- Simulation of 1D optoelectronic structures, in particular LEDs, with realistic band structures.
- Investigation of pivotal effects in optoelectronic structures such as carrier capture, nonequilibrium energetic distributions, and nonradiative recombination within the NEGF framework.
