The MMRL-sponsored XMO Conference, Manufacturing at the Crossroads of America, represents a flagship convening of our community at a moment of national and industrial inflection. Hosted at Purdue University in June 2026, the conference brings together leaders from industry, academia, and government to advance convergent manufacturing across design, materials, processes, and digital-physical systems. Through peer-reviewed technical contributions, keynote perspectives, and collaborative working sessions, XMO fosters innovation in multifunctional, resilient, and point-of-need manufacturing.
