Thermo-Fisher Scientific DXR Raman Microscope Symposium

The Thermo-Fisher Scientific DXR Raman Microscope Symposium was held at the Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. The symposium provided academic users and experts a forum to share their own experiences and knowledgebase with regard to the DXR Raman Microscope. The agenda included a tour of the newly-established ViPER laboratory, research presentations from DXR microscope users, and a demonstration session for advanced Raman spectoscopy techniques. This event, hosted by the ViPER Group, included representatives from various research groups from the Purdue University School of Engineering and Thermo-Fisher Scientific.

The ViPER Group would like to thank our visiting Raman spectroscopy scholars Dr. Jennifer Ramirez, Melanie J. Floyd, Molly B. Isermann, & Dr. Dick Wieboldt for their invaluable expertise and helpful discussions. Special thanks to Jialiang Tang (The ViPER Group), Dr. Vinodkumar Etacheri (The ViPER Group), Kevin Brew (Solar Energy Research Group), Sreekanth Mandati (Solar Energy Research Group), Daw Gen Lim (Osswald Research Group), Arthur Dysart (The ViPER Group), Dr. Yury Zvinevich, & Prof. Vilas Pol for their many contributions to planning, hosting, and presenting at the DXR symposium.
