Duke Energy Academy 2014
The Duke Energy Academy is an annual program hosted by Duke Energy and Purdue University to inspire high school students and teachers in energy sciences and engineering. Selected participants conduct a week-long course in summer on STEM-related energy topics areas of power generation, transportation, power transmission, energy efficiency, and new research frontiers. They also experience life at Purdue through exciting campus tours and energy-related talks with guest speakers from Purdue, industry, and government.
The 2014 program marks our inaugural participation in this event, and we had a blast sharing our knowledge and research with such a great and promising group!
