Students enrolled in VIP 17911 and VIP 47921 in Fall 2026 will be placed on the same team for Spring 2027 and do not need to complete the pre-registration survey.
Pre-registration will be handled through the VIP office and the Registrar prior to batch scheduling. Students and advisors will not add VIP to CRFs through Scheduling Assistant (UniTime). Instead, VIP sections will be placed on CRF so it can be optimized with other courses, giving students the best chance of being assigned to the team that they prefer. To indicate teams to join for the upcoming semester, students must complete the pre-registration survey. You will receive an email upon survey completion with your responses.
VIP and the Registrar’s office will add the course to a students' schedule according to the team selected in the survey. The course will only be added to CRF if the pre-registration survey is completed by the deadline.
Students in the VIP Learning Community (VIP 17911/17912) remain with the same team for both the fall and spring semesters, providing a valuable opportunity to strengthen their technical skills, expand their knowledge, and contribute meaningfully within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This sustained engagement fosters confidence, team cohesion, and steady progress toward personal, professional, and academic goals. Team changes are only considered when an extenuating circumstance arises, such as a schedule conflict with a required course.
