Andres is originally from Mexico City, Mexico. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Physics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and is currently pursuing a Master's in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University, with a major in ASA and a minor in Dynamics & Control. His research interests include astrodynamics, trajectory optimization, mission design, control theory, and Solar System exploration. In his free time, Andres enjoys astrophotography, bodybuilding, and playing the piano and violin.
