Jeremy Koehler

Koehler is vice president of research and development at Advanced Wave Cell Therapy. In the role, he leads R&D to develop and optimize stem cell-based therapies from concept through clinical trials and regulatory approval.
As an engineering coaching for the Stanford Byers Center for Bio-design, Koehler guides faculty fellows in medical innovation and translation research.
Previously, he held senior leadership roles in medical device and biotech startups, directing R&D and engineering teams at Claria Medical, Expanse Medical, NXT Biomedical and Prescient Surgical, advancing multiple products to market and clinical testing.
Koehler is a mentor within the Silicon Valley Network, providing guidance to students and recent Purdue University alumni and sharing professional insights on programs.
