Angie Martin
BSCE '91
Martin currently serves as chief sustainability and innovation officer for Heritage Environmental Sciences where she oversees nationwide emergency response, waste allocation, sustainability and customer regulatory training efforts for a company that is a leader in waste management. She is a licensed engineer in 13 states. Martin serves as treasurer and former president for the Environmental Technology Council, president of the Spill Control Association of America and former president of the Pesticide Stewardship Alliance.
While at Purdue, Martin served as membership director for the Purdue chapter of the Society of Women Engineers and was an active member of Chi Epsilon, the national Civil Engineering Honor Society.
Today, Martin is a frequent guest speaker in multiple environmentally-related courses on campus. She helps coordinate site visits for Purdue students to Heritage facilities to learn more about the industrial waste industry.
