Keammerer currently serves as the technical assistant for Lunar Operations in the Space Flight Systems Division at NASA. In this role, he is involved in the technical and operational development for all Human-Rated Lunar Programs for the Artemis Lunar Missions. He began his NASA career as a co-op student and never looked back. Following graduation, Keammerer began his full-time career as a Space Station ADCO flight controller. He spent eight years flying the Space Station in Mission Control Houston. During that time, he also spent two tours in Russia at Mission Control Moscow and supported the efforts of the Space Shuttle Columbia Debris Recovery Team. Recently, he was the group lead for the Data and Communications Exploration Group, responsible for monitoring Orion’s onboard communication and computer systems. The work of this group heavily contributed to the success of the Artemis 1 Mission around the moon in 2022.

Completed a five-session co-op with NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston.
