Drew Bender - Office of Professional Practice - Purdue University

Bender serves as Chief Operating Officer for VS Engineering, a professional civil engineering consulting firm that provides cost-effective solutions to municipalities, counties and the private sector. He is responsible for project performance and delivery, implementation of quality control project procedures, complete client satisfaction and profitability. He holds PE licensure in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Bender serves as a member of the Civil Engineering Professional Practice Advisory Board; is a frequent speaker in classes and participates in callouts, information sessions and one-on-one sessions to help promote the Co-op Program; and is volunteer industry alumni mentor with the Lyles School of Civil Engineering’s student/alumni mentorship program.
