Ron Haddock - Office of Professional Practice - Purdue University

Haddock is currently chairman of AEI Services, LLC, an international power generation/distribution and natural gas distribution company; Safety-Kleen, an environmental and waste management company; and Rubicon Offshore International, an oil field service company. He also serves on the boards of Alon Energy USA, a petroleum refining and marketing company; Trinity Industries, a diversified industrial company; and Petron Corporation, the largest oil refining and marketing company in the Philippines.

Haddock is chairman of the compensation committee for Trinity Industries, as well as chairman of the governance committees for Safety-Kleen and AEI Energy.

Haddock was chairman and CEO of Prisma Energy International, the AEI predecessor company, from August 2003 to September 2006. Prior to that, he was chairman and CEO of FINA, from January 1989, until his retirement in July 2000.

In 1993, Purdue University honored Haddock with the Outstanding Mechanical Engineer and Distinguished Engineering Alumni awards. He served on the Engineering Advisory Council from 1994-98.

After graduating from Purdue University’s School of Mechanical Engineering in 1963, he began his career at Exxon and progressed through several management positions, including manager of the Baytown Refinery, corporate planning manager for Exxon U.S.A., and vice president for refining. He eventually moved to New York City, where he served as executive assistant to the chairman of Exxon Corporation. In 1982, Haddock returned to Houston as vice president and director of Esso Eastern, Inc., responsible for Exxon operations in the Far East.
