TO-DO List

GK-12 Responsibilities

Melissa & Nino
* choose which unit to showcase during GK12 in-service.
1) Write paper on stories
2) Decide how we're going to present our 2 units to the teachers at the end (photos, presentation, work-shop, etc).
3) Find someone to hand the robotics torch off to and bring them up to speed
4) Finalize the robotics (or have someone else handle this - kids, teachers, etc):
  • Verify the numbering scheme and create a sheet highlighting them all
  • Need to update the photos with the batteries and chargers.
  • Get a copy of the robotics parts sheets into each of the cases.  Can Tecumseh make these copies or should we bring them to Kinkos/Staples?
  • Inventory the rest of the parts

Melissa
1) Put together thoughts/outline on the paper with assignments of responsibility.
2) Review the spring-plate deliverable and double-checking standards covered
3) Have Mike and Alec break down their bots and account for their parts.

Nino
1) Find papers regarding kids and their thoughts expressed through stories
2) Finish the deliverable for the electricity unit - 4-6 hrs
3) Finish organizing the hardware for Melissa
4) Purchase batteries, light bulbs (6v & 12v), and breadboards and fill out forms - 1-2 hrs
5) Come up with a unit to explain programming to the kids.
Ideas: Take a few kids to work with after school to teach them programming and have them help during the units (Mike/Alec???)
