Sourjya Roy received the bachelor’s degree (Hons.) from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2018, where he is working toward the Ph.D. degree at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering under the guidance of Prof. Anand Raghunathan. He is a part of the Centre for Brain Inspired Computing (CBRIC) center at Purdue. He participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) at Purdue University in 2016. His current research interests include circuit and architecture codesign for complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS), post-CMOS devices, in-memory computation, energy-efficient hardware for machine learning (ML) workloads, and algorithms to support the underlying energy-efficient hardware. Mr. Roy was a recipient of the Charles W Brown ECE Scholarship and the Ross Fellowship from Purdue University in 2018 and 2019. He was also the finalist in the Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship in 2020.
