Research has been focused on developing methodologies that help small- and medium-sized manufacturing and commercial companies (SMMCC) improve energy efficiency. We have developed an Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIOT) based energy management platform and use data-driven predictive algorithms to provide the companies energy saving recommendations, options for decision-making, and real-time assessment for estimating the return on investment (ROI). The goal is to enable SMMCC to be more energy efficient with highest ROI.
