Sustainable Energy Club of Purdue

The Sustainable Energy Club of Purdue is a student-lead club with a purpose of giving our members a wide range of hands-on experiences in the sustainable energy industry.

Description: The Sustainable Energy Club of Purdue has a goal. We want to inspire new generations of Purdue students to learn more about the energy industry, give them resources to gain practical experience and further explore their interests within the energy industry. Be ready to work with your hands to assemble renewable power plants, we will help you. You love policy? Join our Policy&Economics Branch and work on creating policies or evaluating projects. You love sustainable energy, but not sure if we work in that specialty? Create your own Branch of SEC, we will help you!
Take the opportunity to learn from speakers in the industry, attend SEC conferences, and get involved with SEC projects.
 
 
Requirements for joining: General membership is open to all Purdue undergraduate and graduate students. All members must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. This means anyone on academic notice/probation is not allowed to participate in any SEC organized activities, vote in any SEC elections, or run for any SEC position.   
 
Approximate Weekly Time Commitment: 4 Hours, Depends on involvement
