Boiler Robotics Club is a team of dedicated innovators with the goal of creating a Mars rover to compete in the University Rover Challenge.

Description: Boiler Robotics is a team of dedicated innovators with the goal of creating a Mars rover to compete in the University Rover Challenge. The challenge, through the Mars Society, is an annual competition with over 100 teams from all around the world competing in the Utah desert in a variety of missions including picking up and delivering components; manipulating objects and tools with a robotic arm; determining the presence of life using chemical analysis; and autonomously navigating to GPS and visual waypoints.

Requirements for joining: Students do not have to have any prior engineering experience to join. They must just be dedicated to working consistently on the project. Recruitment is conducted at the beginning of each semester and is conducted primarily through callouts.
