Description: Purdue Aerial Robotics Team is a multidisciplinary student-run organization that designs, builds and tests multiple different uninhabited aerial systems (UAS). Comprised of two technical divisions and a business management division, students gain industry specific experience in a hands-on manner. The competition division works on a yearly design cycle to create a vehicle to partake in the AUVI SUAS competition while the R&D Division works on a 2-3 year design cycle to make new technology for integration into the competition vehicle. The BMD works to run the club, ensuring sponsorships and memberships and working with local organizations to plan outreach events.
