This work is important because it optimizes human-computer interaction, improves workplace and everyday ergonomics, and ensures that AI applications are tailored to diverse user needs, ultimately fostering more inclusive and effective systems.

I aspire to become a Research Scientist at a leading tech company, focusing on accessibility and inclusivity. My goal is to contribute to projects that promote equitable research and product design, ensuring that the needs of individuals who are often neglected are addressed.

What was the most valuable advice you received before or during graduate school?
A
Treat yourself like someone you like because you are allowed to be a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously. Give yourself the same love you give to strangers and friends.

At Purdue, I feel like endless opportunities are within my reach. I have the resources and support to achieve anything I set my mind to in my field. Having access to such a wealth of resources is incredibly empowering and invigorating!! Purdue makes me realize how much the world is truly my oyster.

The way Purdue integrates Engineering with real-world impact, from space exploration to human-centered design, makes it a powerhouse of innovation!
