The Bridge program is coordinated by the Office of Graduate Diversity Initiatives (OGDI) in the Purdue University Graduate Office.
Benefit: Graduate Bridge Students receive a summer stipend, partial support for lodging and moving expenses, and enhanced networking and mentoring.
Bridge Student Eligibility:
- U.S. citizens, Lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee that have been accepted into a Purdue University Graduate program for the Fall 2024 Semester.
- Applicants who are first-generation, military veterans, Pell Grant recipients, were part of McNair, LSAMP or TRIO program, or have attended a minority-serving institution are particularly encouraged to apply.

- The application process must now be initiated by the research mentor. We would appreciate your help in encouraging faculty to nominate their incoming graduate students. For the nomination link please share the Qualtrics link above. Faculty are required to provide a nomination letter.
- Students are encouraged to contact their research advisor to start the process.
