Not getting a good night’s rest? Built to help participants better understand the role of sleep, this presentation equips listeners with powerful sleep tips and knowledge to help them make the most of a good night’s sleep.

This event is hosted by Vanessa Pacheco who is the Assistant Director for Health & Wellness Programs here at Purdue University, where she supports student leaders in becoming active participants in their own well-being. This includes guided meditations, goal-setting, understanding their values, and more. At this critical time, she believes that is vital that students have access to resources that allow them to be their full selves while on campus. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Pacheco began her career as a Coordinator for Cross-Cultural Engagement, teaching courses in intergroup dialogue and social identity. Pacheco earned her M.S.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs in 2015 from Indiana University before embracing Lafayette as her home. As the founding staff advisor for the ACE Campus Food Pantry at Purdue, she has been the grateful recipient of many local awards, including SLISU in 2018 and Woman of Innovation from the local YWCA. Vanessa enjoys gardening, watching horror films with her dog Huey, and being a model citizen. Above all, she loves all things pizza.
