Crafting Compelling Storylines: Workshop Series

Hosted By: Graduate Programs

Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 12:00 - 1:00 PM

Being able to effectively communicate your discoveries, both within and outside your academic field, is arguably as important as making the discovery. Whether you are applying for funding, preparing a conference presentation, drafting a manuscript, or creating your elevator pitch, a strong storyline drives the audience connection necessary to secure funding, publication approvals, or strategic partnerships. Over the course of this four-week workshop, you will actively draft a compelling storyline for your own research while engaging in a collaborative peer-review process to give and receive critical feedback.
