This course-based, entirely online MSECE program with the same courses, same faculty, and same degree as the on-campus programs.

Curriculum

This degree requires 30 credit hours total with at least 15 hours of electrical and computer engineering coursework, 6 credit hours of graduate math coursework and up to 9 credit hours in coursework from outside of ECE.

Students can select one of these ECE focus areas or build a plan of study to incorporate multiple areas:

  • Automatic Control
  • Communications, Networking, Signal & Image Processing
  • Computer Engineering
  • Fields and Optics
  • Microelectronics and Nanotechnology
  • Power and Energy Systems
  • VLSI and Circuit Design

Admissions Requirements

Criteria for Admissions

Math Background:

  • 3 semesters of calculus and 1 semester each of differential equations and linear algebra (highly recommended)

Undergraduate Degree:

  • BS or equivalent, preferred in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Physics, Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics

Test Scores:

  • GRE scores are accepted but not required.

  • Final Deadline: December 15

For Fall start:

Tuition*

For resident and nonresident students:

  • $950 per credit hour

Domestic students and permanent residents may qualify for the following types of financial aid:
