Auditory Neurophysiology and Modeling Lab – Michael Heinz
Central Auditory Processing Lab – Ed Bartlett
The Bartlett lab is interested in how hearing circuits function in normal and pathological conditions (aging, noise, blast). We are interested in the representation of sound at various levels from the whole brain to cellular and subcellular changes to discover mechanisms determining functional changes.
In addition, we develop protocols to identify diagnostic biomarkers and classifiers of underlying pathologies.
NanoNeurotechnology Lab – Krishna Jayant
The CogNeuro Lab – Anne Sereno
The CogNeuro Lab engages in various research projects centered around understanding the neural mechanisms of sensorimotor and cognitive processes to help in the differential diagnosis, tracking, and evaluation of intervention of various diseases.
Primary research approaches
- Neurophysiology
- Computer Modeling
- Behavior and Instrumentation
The Dadarlat Lab – Maria Dadarlat
The Neuroprostheses Research Lab – Kevin Otto
- Develop and test neural interfaces to help those afflicted with injury and disease.
- Provide a training ground for the next generation of Scientists.
