Technical Engineering (TE) selectives are courses approved by the BME curriculum committee that allow students to gain deeper knowledge in engineering principles and concepts. These courses are primarily offered through engineering disciplines, including BME, as well as core STEM areas such as Computer Science, Statistics, and Mathematics.
Students are encouraged — but not required — to select Technical Engineering courses that align with their primary or secondary depth area.
Each Technical Engineering selective may also fulfill a specific requirement category, as described below.
