AAPS Dale E. Wurster Research Award In Pharmaceutics Goes To Professor Nicholas A. Peppas

Nicholas A. Peppas, the Showalter Distinguished Professor of Biomedical
Engineering and Chemical Engineering, has been selected to receive the
Dale E. Wurster Research Award in Pharmaceutics from the
American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). The purpose of
this award is to recognize individuals who have made significant research
contributions to the pharmaceutical sciences in the specific
field of pharmaceutics. Pharmaceutics is broadly defined to encompass such
research areas as physical pharmacy, preformulation, dosage form design,
formulations, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, etc.


Professor Peppas will receive this award, the highest research award of AAPS, at their
annual meeting in Toronto in November.
