Kendal Tinsley

Kendal Tinsley is an MSME student at Purdue, where she also recently completed her BSME in Spring of 2023. At the Programmable Structures Lab, her work has focused on developing manufacturing methods for bistable and metastable domes for nature inspired robotic wings. Outside of the lab, Kendal is part of the Purdue Baja Racing Team.

  • Redesigning a deployable wing from the PSL Robosoft 2024 submission to improve its load-carrying capacity and reduce weight and
  • Redesigning and implementing a wing deployment mechanism to achieve surface stiffening and wing deployment
