Cormac is a Master’s student in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2024. As an undergraduate, he worked as a student researcher in the Center for Infrastructure, Energy, and Space Testing, where he investigated the efficacy of Pipe-in-Pipe technologies for the rehabilitation of aging natural gas pipelines. He also conducted groundwater modeling research focused on understanding the influence of subsurface heterogeneity on active and passive spreading and reaction during in situ groundwater remediation. Outside of the lab, Cormac enjoys skiing, running, and playing guitar.
