Purdue's College of Science offers online master's-level computer science courses, providing working professionals an opportunity to earn non-thesis online MS in CS via distance learning. This Master's program is for individuals with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Overview
Computer Science makes many things possible, and an advanced degree in Computer Science prepares students to make them happen. An online MS in CS from Purdue University, the nation's first Computer Science department, provides the depth and breadth of knowledge needed to keep pace with rapid changes in technology and to assume leadership positions in development and deployment of software solutions. Course Information
Students earning their Master's degree in Computer Science take a core of three courses and four additional courses to ensure breadth, and three free elective courses (some of which may be courses from other departments).
This Master's degree consists of ten 3-credit hour courses. Research Areas within Computer Science include:

Admissions Criteria
Applicants will work with Computer Science when completing the application process. The Department of Computer Science recommendation for admission is in general based on a combination of the following criteria: CS course background and major GPA, class rank, letters of recommendation, your statement of purpose, work experience, and English Proficiency. We take the quality of the institution into consideration.

Delivery Format Options
Computer Science masters program classes are made available primarily through streaming video over the Internet and downloadable MPEG-4 files.
