Payment Options For Course Tuition Fees

myPurdue is the university portal system that enables students to make online payments, view financial aid data and more! All invoicing will be done electronically through eBilling. Following are guidelines for each method of payment.

  • Self-Pay: Credit Card or Electronic Check/Bank Transfer - Purdue has contracted with TouchNet Information Systems to accept Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Visa. A 2.75% convenience fee will be added to credit card charges processed through the TouchNet Paypath service. Students will have the option to pay by electronic check/bank transfer at no additional charge.
  • Self Pay: Installment Plans - Students may enroll in a payment plan online through their myPurdue account. Available Spring and Fall semesters only. Participants will be charged 8% APR on the amount deferred per semester. 25% of the amount due for tuition and fees must be paid at the time of enrollment. The remaining fees, plus a finance charge, will be paid in up to 3 equal amounts over the course of the semester. A $17.50 late payment fee will be assessed if the remaining installment plan payments are not paid by the due date.
  • Financial Aid/Student Loan will be considered as a payment. Financial Aid may be available to distance students. Veterans educational benefits and assistance is available for eligible students. You will be able to check the status of your financial aid and make sure that your payment is correctly applied in a timely fashion through myPurdue.
  • Third Party Payment - Students may have their employer or tuition-assistance program invoiced. Invoices will not be sent until after the last official drop date by students. The voucher or written approval (on letterhead) for invoicing must be sent to the Bursar, attention: Cheryl Files (cfiles@purdue.edu or fax to 765-496-1133). Please include the following:
