Workshops
Please note that we have changed the workshop schedule based on the registrations.
We will hold the following two parallel workshops after the conference.
1. Modeling and design of industrial crystallization systems using CrySiV (August 13): This workshop offers comprehensive training in the modeling, simulation, and design of industrial crystallization processes using CrySiV—a population balance-based simulation and visualization tool for batch and continuous systems. Participants will gain foundational knowledge in industrial crystallization fundamentals, process mechanisms, and equipment, followed by hands-on sessions in model-free control, parameter estimation, and model-based optimization using CrySiV. The workshop will also include step-by-step demonstrations through CrySiV's interactive modules to integrate PAT data for crystallization kinetic modeling and Digital Process Design.
2. Sustainable Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (August 13): This workshop focuses on advancing sustainability in pharmaceutical manufacturing through circular economy principles. It will present technical insights on waste-to-value strategies at both plant and value chain levels. Participants will engage with case studies and novel modeling and optimization tools aimed at reducing waste and enhancing resource efficiency across the pharmaceutical manufacturing lifecycle.
