Arjun Roy

Arjun graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2016 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Following graduation he joined HeartFlow, a medical imaging AI startup located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Arjun dedicated 4 years as a Research Engineer working on computational geometry, fluid-dynamic simulations and medical image processing of the coronary artery system and an additional 2 years as a Senior Data Engineer developing a cloud-based centralized data lake-house for internal analytics. Motivated by these experiences and a longing for continued academic growth he joined Purdue University in 2022 under Prof. Kaushik Roy to pursue his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) with research focusing on computer vision and neuromorphic computing.
