Control and Automation

In the Intelligent Manufacturing Laboratory, various control schemes are being developed and implemented on CNC machines through a PC-based open architecture controller developed in-house. Using this PC-based controller, various control schemes have been implemented, including intelligent control, adaptive force control of endmilling, robust control of a high speed milling machine, multi-axis contouring control, and in-process surface roughness control as well as for other applications.
