PC-based Open Architecture Controller


The open architecture controller uses a standard PC platform with generic hardware components and software, and allows programming in C or Basic languages. This open architecture controller has been interfaced with a high speed milling machine and a MAZAK CNC machining center through an in-house designed board shown below.
