Monitoring, Optimization and Control of Grinding Processes

The objective of this thrust area is to develop and implement intelligent monitoring, optimization and control schemes for precision grinding processes. (see the press release)

Intelligent Model Building for GIGAS

• Model building of various grinding process conditions
• Grinding simulation
• Predictive chatter models
